Why you should prioritise sleep right now

A good night’s sleep is vital for optimal health. Sleep is vital for regeneration of all aspects of our bodies and during sleep the body clears out the waste products from the day’s activities – especially in the brain. Although one night of poor sleep is not harmful, continued lack of sleep or poor-quality sleep can influence our health in many ways.

Optimising your health during the coronavirus ...

I have seen a myriad of posts claiming ways to boost your immune system. First, no-one is actually allowed to claim that their product or technique can boost the immune system, and secondly, what does that mean anyway? An over-active immune system is just as undesirable as an under-active one. We want our immune systems to work as they are intended by reacting appropriately.

Or does depression cause fatigue and weight problems? Or perhaps fatigue causes both? In fact, it’s probably none of these exactly. What is much more likely is that there are common underlying causes for all three.

Nutritional therapy usually involves making some kind of change to your way of eating or lifestyle. Some clients find these kind of changes very challenging and often “self-sabotage”. Should you be gluten free?

More and more people are choosing to avoid gluten. When asked, proponents often claim that they feel better for it, or simply that they feel it is a healthier option.
